BOOKING FOR 2025 NOW!
Hey there, I'm John. Also JC.
I'm from Ohio, but have been living in Canada long enough to become a dual citizen. I fell in love with Jay Peak in 2003 on a random ski club trip and have been coming to the region ever since.
Then, in 2015 a series of randomly colliding gay events, including a strip bar in Montreal and a common Ottawa friend (Stephane Laviolette), led me to the Brodown Hodown, after I'd been bringing guys down to stay at Grampa Grunt's for several New Year's Eve weekends.
Speed up to December of 2018, and I bought a home on River Street, having fallen in love with our small slice of Vermont heaven. Ever since then, I've been bridging the Canadians and Americans together who pilgrimage to Montgomery twice a year. My only goal is to bring fun people together and keep up this legacy set into motion over 17 years ago. I don't keep a dime running this party. Every dollar collected goes back into making it bigger and better the next year.
It takes FAR MORE than just me to put this together. So volunteers are always welcome, sought out and NEEDED.
I've also been a mobile/club/circuit/festival/FM/Satellite radio DJ since I was 14. If you'd have told me I was going a be inviting you to a gay party weekend in Vermont back in 2003...well, you'd have been right.
